Container Products Ltd was started in 1996 by Stephen Fletcher. Who, previously worked in the timber packaging business, wanted to offer real service, supplying timber packing cases to local engineering firms.
The manufacture of corrugated cartons was added in 2002, with the purchase of 2 Autobox machines.
We are a successful family business that can provide a flexible and personal service.
In June 2004 we moved to Castle Mill Works with a large outside yard and a 5-ton overhead crane to assist with the export packing.
Accredited ISO9001 quality system in 2010, and we pride ourselves on the high standard of our workmanship.
In January 2010 we employed a container packer, adding more experience to our packing team, now we load containers all around the country.
In 2010 we started training to understand air/shipping forwarding documentation requirements, e.g. Bill of Lading, Express Waybill.
We have acquired 8500 square feet unit next door in 2014 with a 10 ton overhead crane adding to our 6000 square feet facility, invested in new equipment adding a container ramp and a 4 ton forklift truck for efficient container loading.
